Sara Ingleby-Mackenzie - Chester Arts Fair

Sara Ingleby-Mackenzie

Sara Ingleby-Mackenzie

Sara has been developing her sculptures since graduating from the Bath Academy of Art with a BA Hons (1st class) in sculpture and printmaking.  She has also been awarded Henry Moore Foundation Scholarship.

Her witty and glamorous ladies are at home in most settings and take a light hearted view of the world. They are dressed to kill – or at the very least to create an impression.  These ladies exude confidence, elegance, and style.  Their colouring and clothes are key to their characters. They explore how in our image conscious world we wear sunglasses, go bare footed, teeter on impossible heels, and carry expensive handbags all for others to take note of.

Sara has undertaken numerous private and corporate commissions examples include Mayflower’s Edward Winslow stepping ashore on to Plymouth Rock for Droitwich Council, OAG The Airline of the Year Award and Diving with Dolphins for the Nordic Swimming Federation. Her pieces are widely collected in this country and abroad.
