How To Find Us

Please note that Chester Arts Fair 2020, is taking place between the 13th November to the 13th December as a Virtual Fair. We hope to host all the normal facilities in 2021, dates to be announced.

The Racecourse is situated in the heart of Chester supported by an extensive road and rail network.

By Road

For Satelite Navigation systems our postcode is CH1 2LY (see map above)

The M53, M56, M6, and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester providing excellent links from Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales and the south of England. The Racecourse is signed from all the major routes into Chester. Please see the below map for further details.

Car Parking

Car parking is available on-site and FREE for all visitors to the art fair. Disabled parking is also available.

By Rail

The station is 20-30 minutes walk from the Racecourse through the picturesque Chester city centre. An excellent service of direct trains runs regularly to London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly, Crewe, Cardiff Central, Llandudno, Birmingham and Bangor, and Holyhead.

A bus service outside the station runs regularly and drops off in the centre of town.

Merseyrail

Merseyrail operates four trains an hour between Liverpool and Chester Monday to Saturday up until 18.30pm, then a half-hourly service until 10pm. Tickets can be purchased from any Merseyrail stations, for details of travel on the Merseyrail network, please click here.

By Coach

Chester Bus Exchange is a simple 10-15 minute walk from the Racecourse. Regular National Express services stop at the exchange from London, Leeds, Southport, Blackpool and many other destinations.
