About the collective:
After a successful 25 year career as a Marketing & PR Consultant working with local, national and international companies, Paul and his wife Kate returned to North Wales and created Bodnant Art Studio which is now a very popular Art School based in Tal y Cafn.
In 2017 Paul was commissioned by a leading art publisher in the USA to produce a tutorial book ’Beginning Pastel’. The book has proved to be very successful selling well in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, South Africa and Australia.
In 2018 Paul and Kate jointly created Bodnant Art Gallery at the request of Bodnant Garden Centre. The Gallery has been a great success and features some of the finest artists from across North Wales.
Paul explains, “ART North Wales was formed in September 2019 with the sole purpose of promoting the many talented artists who are currently living and working in North Wales. We felt that there was a need to bring everyone together under one strong brand.
The website (launched in January 2020) is just the beginning. We are planning a series of promotions and events that will bring our group of artists to the attention of the art buying public.”
Paul is a Professional Associate of the Society for All Artists, a member of the North Wales Society of Fine Art, an Associate Partner of the Visual Artists Association and an Ambassador for Unison Pastels.
Kate studied at Manchester Metropolitan University and has a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Studies.
Kate’s early career was spent in Advertising and Marketing before joining a leading North West Estate Agency where she managed a portfolio of over 400 properties.
